As the day winds down, we remember Martin Luther King, Jr.’s words on February 4, 1968: 
 
Be great at what we do. It’s one of our company’s core values. When our leadership team met this morning to talk about the upcoming day, “great” took on an even deeper meaning than before because of Martin Luther King, Jr’s words. It is more than being excellent, top notch, and world class, all which we aspire to…it links to the very heart of why we became part of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change franchise.
We are not a company with a mission, we are a mission with a company, and that is “Changing Lives through Stewardship,” through serving others. We know that we are sometimes the only contact one of our elderly guests has all day, are the final stop for a tired mom, and the place where a dad sends his daughter, telling her to “call him” from the service center to make sure everything goes alright during her first ever visit.
In an industry too often plagued by dishonesty and distrust, we know that it is our responsibility to treat each guest with the utmost courtesy and transparency, ensuring they feel valued and empowered throughout their experience with us. To us, it is our legacy.  We’re not just changing oil; we’re changing lives, one vehicle, one customer, and one community at a time.  Our  2025 Be the Change campaign will help us do just that, along with our VIOC Community Rewards Program, VIOC Giving, and Employee Savings Program.  We are here to serve you. We are here to be great.
